Just across the street from the Mission Pacific, the Seabird Resort shares the same stunning ocean views with its family-oriented sister hotel. Dr. Seuss meets Maritime in this property's decor. A lot of attention has been paid to every corner of the room. For a few days, I almost felt like I was sleeping in a museum. THURSDAY FARMERS MARKET

There are actually two events at the Oceanside Farmers Market on Thursday. The farmers market is held from 9 AM to 1 PM in the morning with fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, artisan foods, and local drinks. Don't miss out on some great deals on books at the Friends of the Library booth.

 

Afterwards, there is the Oceanside Sunset Market in San Diego, which runs from 5-9 PM. In addition to food stalls and pop-up kitchens, the market will feature dessert vendors, craft booths, live music, and entertainment. It's probably the closest thing to an Asian Night Market I have seen in the United States. Getting to try different local dishes and food is fun for the whole family.

FINGER-LICKING GOOD FOOD

Having said that, Oceanside has some amazing restaurants. Oceanside's chefs are ready to tantalize your taste buds no matter if you're in the mood for fish tacos and IPAs or a culinary extravaganza.
